A personal music collection accumulated over years is usually a directory of inconsistently named files. Tags disagree with filenames, the same album exists three times in different qualities, and none of it is reachable from outside the machine it sits on. Commercial streaming services solve the access problem but will not host a collection you already own.

od3 turns a folder of audio files into a browsable library. Uploads are read for their embedded metadata and artwork, organised into artists and albums automatically, and checked for duplicates rather than silently stacking copies. The result is played through a web player that works on a phone as readily as a desktop, so the collection becomes available without surrendering it to someone else's catalogue.
